my current thoughts on eclipse

Well I'll start off by saying, thank you deviant art for fix the glitch that throws me up to the top of the screen. (I hope everyone has the same thing if not, then I just got luckey).



Anyhow, I've been visiting this site less recently. I may look like I haven't been here for years, but I do come on to clean out my mail box, and see some peoples art work.


But now, because of the change with eclipse its become a chore to clean out my mail box, and its even worse just trying to fave art work I like.


You can't just drag other art pieces and put it in your fave any more, you have to hit a fave button, then you have to manually organize which folder you want it to stay in. Which In my opinion the old way of flavoring art pieces was already okay, and yet they had to screw it up, by breaking it.


Well aside from my thoughts now, I'm still not deterred into leaving the site, but I'm never getting a paid member ship from this site. (I wasn't anyway, but I wouldn't recommend paying these idiots that created this update)


Anyways, my point being I'm probably going to appear less on this site, but that dosen't mean I'm finished with deviant art. Where else am I going to share my sprite work?


Anyways these are my thoughts for now.


After I'm done with a certain dead pool parody, I'm think I'm hyped enough to work on something epic. Just make me jealous mark.

Yeah freaking Eclipse

Well not going to say this is a complete disaster, but it dose feel like a mess. Well I'm slowly trying to get around my own page to figure this shit out.


I have no plans in leaving because I use this site for my sheets and other stuff. I'm sure theirs good stuff I can find useful, but yeah this site needs a over hall make over.


I really hate the mailing system they implemented.


Deviant art Fix your shit.


Well thats all, just trying to test things out.

So about eclipse.

I'll just start with the point of concern.

I'm not completely phased by the changes their going to implement for deviant art.   So basically I have no plans of jumping the site.  I can adapt to most of the changes made.

All that being said however, I can still see the anger and frustration people have with this forced change to the platform.  Not all the changes I see satisfies me.    :iconwakeangel2001: made most of my points clear, and he made a video that describes a lot of people complaints.

The biggest thing I hate about eclipse is the message system thats being implemented.  Now I got to jump through hoops, and check multiple message types just to see my watchers art, or check up on what club has something to show.  Again :iconwakeangel2001: Addresses this part perfectly in his video on YouTube, but this layout if fucking retarded.

I actually like browsing through my messages to see whats new, because I like good artwork, not mention sprite sheets in case it benefits me or anyone else in the future.   That's one of the changes I don't except.  I can handle everything else, but this part, I'm not happy with.


Another big thing that pisses me off more, is the fact that this system change is chasing away a lot of good artists I like, and it a shame too.

Deviant art, get your head out of your ass, and ether fix eclipse, or just leave the site alone.


Again I'm not leaving deviant art if this change gets implemented, because I use deviant art as a platform for my hobby and sprite sheets, because I'm tough, and I can adapt to most the changes, but again I understand the frustration everyone has, and I sure as do hate the decision the web-designer's are making.

Should I be a little bit open with my sprites?

I've been doing a lot of thinking recently when it comes to making custom sprites.

Long story short, they're might be a 50 - 50 chance that I might consider being a bit more open with sharing most of my sprites I'm keeping to myself.  That, ether out of pride and I wanted to be the first to use them, or keeping them out of the hands out of cartoon shit club, and its sock puppet accounts.

Enfisist on SOME of them.         They're is some of them I still wish to use to myself until I feel like posting them.
Examples being, I'm willing to release Some of Undynes sheet and a few others, but chars like lisa characters, the batter from OFF, and Asriel are off limits still.  (they're is few others not listed thats off limits, but some I'm willing open up too if their is someone that wants to help).

I'll probably explain this better in a twitter long post, and how I want to share the sprites I'm working on, while finally getting all the hatred out on the same post, explaining clearly why I hate shit club, and why it should matter.

I've had this grudge on them for years now, and I'm tired of keeping quiet about it.  I was going a make a video about them, but I can't keep my emotions in check to make a proper video.  So I guess a twitter long post is the second best option, but I need to be in the right mood first.

But ether way.  IDK yet.
